Mod Name / Version: Spider Mod for 6.3 & 6.4 - 1.0
Description: This modification changes the URL format of the URLs leading to your posts to a more search engine friendly format. It removes the ? & and = signs from the URLs (which search engines typically penalize for) and replaces them with slashes, which makes the variables look like directory names.
We've been using it at www.ThreadsDev since September and at last check had 70,000-80,000 listings in Google (up from 300 and something in early September).

This modification does NOT work on all servers.
In my experience there are a few windows server configurations that this will not work under. So I have attached a test script.
To test your server:
- Download the attached ZIP file.
- Unzip it and upload the seotest.php script to your server in the same directory as your ubbthreads scripts.
- Run it in your browser and follow the instructions.
If you have trouble and would like me to check your server for compatibility personally, please PM me with FTP information to your server and your forum URL.
