I could really use a link system for ubbthreads.

My users often share as well, are links to various pages! So what about a small link system addon that looks like this: http://www.ateist.org/inlink/index.php ?

Heres the broad idea:

A link system consists of a number of categories (and sub-categories) and a some links with an summary text.

Link categories should, just like the normal forum categories, be open for entries from users that has the permission to write a new "link" to them.

The link categories can be assigned a moderator and perhaps be fully moderated, just like the normal forum categories you already now.

Its very important that the link system can be made very pretty to look at, for instance via templates and styles. Just like the link above.

This will allow the webmaster to have a linksystem that is populated by dedicated forumusers and also shown to ordinary site visitors thats not interrested in the forum as such.

I will pay top-dollar for such a system. Its a novellty in forumsoftware, and it is (i imagine) simple to construct.

Its a killer addon
