We did have a MySQL issue this afternoon. Still not sure what caused it but we did have to reboot the server to get everything back on track. We're investigating what the cause was so that we can prevent it from happening again.

Unfortunately, as with any new equipment we've got to get all the settings just right for optimimum performance and uptime. So we'll continue the tweaking over the next week or so I'm sure.

The good news is that we have advanced monitoring now - so I was aware of the issue probably about the time you were. Just takes time to make adjustments and for the machine to reboot and get everything back online.

Note: We really can't do Vertex business at ThreadsDev as the hosting there is provided by Infopop. So I was unable to speak about the issue there and had to close the Vertex thread.
