The version 1.0 has been released to the member area. There have only been very minor changes(a couple of small bugfixes) from the version for 6.51.

Anno, if I'm staying with 6.5.1 for the time being (as 6.5.2 doesn't work under Firefox) then should I install the 6.5.2 SubForum mod (since it only contains bug-fixes?

Hmmm...I think you could try, I think it should work. If it doesn't, then install the mod for 6.51 and the 2 bugfixes posted in the 6.51 release thread.

Anno, what changes did you make? Were they ALL bug fixes? If so then I don't see how there could be a problem.
What else was possibly changed? I think 6.5.2 deals differently with post-tracking, did you change anything to do with that in the new version?
I'd like to install the most bug-free version of your mod, but phrases like "it should work" don't really build my confidence for my first hack ever.

No.
The code for 6.52 changed slightly so I adjusted the subforuzms to match these changes.

The most bug free version is the one for 6.52.
If you want to keep using threads 6.51, then install the version for 6.51 and apply the 2 bugfixes from this thread:
